  • Am I a candidate for Microblading?
We do not recommend Microblading for individuals who are nursing, pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Microblading is not suited for those receiving chemotherapy until 6 weeks post treatment, anyone on blood thinning medications, past trouble with healing, are not able to take antibiotics, a compromised immune system, prone to keloid scarring, on accutane or have had injections or hair removal two weeks prior to your session.
  • Is the process painful?
Pain tolerance varies by each individual and skin type. Numbing agents are part of the process but every skin type reacts to them differently. Most common symptoms reported are tearing of the eyes and the sensation of sneezing.
  • How long is the procedure?
You must be able to lay flat on your back for 2 or more hours.
  • Do I wear makeup to the appointment?
Minimal makeup is perfectly fine but will be cleansed from the area prior to tattooing. If you currently fill in your brows, we prefer to reference that. Photos of desired results are always welcome. Makeup can not be applied to your brows during the two week healing process.
  • Can I decide on the color and shape of my brows?
Absolutely. We work together to achieve your desired results. Approval of the pre draw and color swatching is imperative to the process.
  • Will I be able to attend work or social events after my session?
Redness and swelling are typical after your session and vary due to the difference in skin types. Your brows will look larger and intense at first and then will go through a two week healing process requiring gentle aftercare. Peeling and the appearance of cracking is to be expected during healing. Initial results will fade 1-3 shades lighter. You will lose 30%-50% of the original color. We ask that you do not make any final opinions on the shape and color of your brows until they have completed a four to five week healing process and can make adjustments on your second session.
  • When do I schedule my second appointment?
Your second session must be booked 6-10 weeks after the first session or you will be charged as a first time client and the process will be completely restarted.
  • Can I exercise after the appointment?
We recommend avoiding sweating and sunlight up to three days after your session. If you do sweat, blot the area with a sterile, lint free disposable paper towel.
  • What do I need to take care of my brows?
We provide aftercare! Sunscreen is imperative to prevent premature fading once your brows are completely healed.
  • Do you offer cover-up sessions?
Yes. All existing brow tattoos need to be consulted prior to booking and will be charged as a new service. Please email us photos.
  • What do I need to know for the day of my Microblading appointment?
1 - Avoid alcohol, fish oil, ibuprofen or other blood thinning medications for 24 hours. 2 - Do not remove any hair from the Brow area 3 - No chemical peels, injections or facial treatments for 2 weeks prior to your appointment. 4 - Limit caffeine intake 12 hours prior to your appointment. 5 - Arrive on time. 15 minutes or later results in forfeiture of your appointment and a cancellation fee. 6 - Know your door code. 7 - Please silence your cell phone upon entering and put it aside for the duration of the service.
